Tyson Nash is a former NHL hockey player who played for seven seasons with the St. Louis Blues and the Phoenix Coyotes. Before his NHL career, Tyson was a star junior hockey player for the Kamloops Blazers, winning three Memorial Cups. He is only one of three hockey players to win three Memorial Cups with the same junior hockey team. The talented left winger played his first five NHL seasons with the St. Louis Blues where he was particularly effective at drawing fouls from opposing teams. In 2003, Nash joined the Phoenix Coyotes and would play for two seasons for the Coyotes before being traded to the Toronto Maple Leafs. In 2007, Nash signed with the Nippon Paper Cranes in Japan and led them to a second place finish. Nash moved from the ice to the broadcasting booth after his season in Japan and is currently the color analyst for the Phoenix Coyotes on Radio XTRA 910.
Tyson can now be found in the TV booth with one of the game's best play by play announcers - Dave Strader. Dave and Tyson l call games on Fox Sports AZ in high definition.
