About Me

Jim Starr is world famous for his role as Laser on the original series of American Gladiators. Jim joined American Gladiators during the series' first season and was the only Gladiator to appear in all seven seasons. Before becoming a Gladiator, Jim was an All-American linebacker at Montana State University.

In addition to his successful athletic and entertainment career, Jim is a seasoned executive and expert in the fitness and nutrition field. Jim was a Brand Manager and Director of Athlete Sponsorship at Apex Fitness Group and the Director of Product Development for 24 Hour Fitness. Jim Starr latest position is Vice President of Product Development for dotFIT, a specialized nutritional company.

Specific Areas of Experience / Skill Include:
Specializing in a variety of nutritional and dietary products. Expertise in co-developing and implementing innovative product development to diverse consumer markets, FDA issues with corporate materials/packaging, successful contract negotiations, proven history of dramatically increasing revenues and profits, manage development process to ensure forward movement to deliver on-time positive results, cost savings, marketing, writing for varied audiences and promotions.
